
Every year on August 15th (Chinese date), it's Chinese traditional Mid-Autumn Festival. It's the second largest festival in China after Spring Festival. The family will try to get together. At night, the family will eat mooncakes and watch moon. Liu, Hai Yan Director of TMI China.
This year, the children at our orphanage, TMI Hope House for Children celebrated this holiday with Threshold's dear friend, Dong, Anhua and his family. Together they shared a wonderful meal and later on enjoyed mooncakes and the beautiful full moon.

Mooncakes are a pastry filled with either red bean or lotus seed paste. Mooncakes are usually eaten in
small wedges accompanied by Chinese Tea.
