2010 Year End

2010 was a successful year for Threshold. Some of our accomplishments include:

• At year end a total of 222 children were participating in our Outreach Sponsorship Program; 56 primary school students, 73 middle school students, 48 high school students and 40 university/technical school students. Five children are special needs and do not attend school. In the summer of 2010, twelve students graduated from university and found employment in their field of study.
• Our orphanage, TMI Hope House is caring for 33 children and young adults: 12 are in primary school, 10 are in middle school, 5 are in high school and 6 are attending technical school.
• Our Gifts of Hope program has distributed summer shirts, athletic shoes and supplemental food (98 bottles of oil, 134 bags of rice and 88 bags of flour) to the 43 children on our waiting list. 22 truckloads of firewood, and 1000 ducks and feed were distributed to the needy families living in the area where we serve.
